The full-day kindergarten program is available for children who will be 5 years old by September 1st and who have been enrolled at our school for at least one year. The full-day program consists of the child’s work time, group lessons, lunch, and outdoor learning. Children work independently, in pairs, or small groups. The children have their morning and afternoon work time as well as a full Montessori lunch experience. Kindergartners in the full-day program also have enrichment extension lessons. These lessons are taught in small groups in our lesson room. The group lessons are only for kindergartners and focus on the areas of literature, Chinese culture and language, science, mathematics, and fine arts.
We do not accept children for our kindergarten program unless they have been enrolled at our school for at least one year.
