Kelley Ciraulo serves as the Head of School for Beverly Montessori. She has a B.S. in Education and an M.A. in Educational Leadership. She also has her Montessori Administration Certification from Seton Montessori Institute. She has been involved in education for the last 16 years. She is a graduate of Beverly Montessori School and her two oldest children attended the school. She loves the Montessori philosophy and community.
Amy Berglind is the business manager and registrar at Beverly Montessori School. Her two oldest children attended the school and she loves the school because of the wonderful children, staff and parents. She comes to us with experience in business and marketing with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She enjoys gardening, home improvement projects, and nature walks with her children.
Linda Bailey is Beverly Montessori School’s Academic Advisor. She works with all of the staff, children, and families. She has been involved with Beverly Montessori School as a parent, volunteer, assistant and lead teacher for over 30 years. She has her Early Childhood Montessori Certification from Seton Montessori Institute and is trained in leading STEP classes (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting). She enjoys reading, gardening, decorating, and spending time with her family and friends.
Nancy Schwartz is the lead teacher in the Southwest Room in the afternoon. Nancy has a B.A. in French Language and Literature and an M.A. in Education. She teaches literature to the full-day kindergarten students. She has her Montessori Certification from the Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center (MMTTC) and has been at our school for 25 years. She loves baking and reading nonfiction books.
Virginia Savrimas is the assistant teacher in the Southwest Room both in the morning and afternoon. She attended the Music Academy in Lithuania. She sang both for the Lithuania Opera and for the Lithuania Opera House in Chicago and served on their Board. She has been at Beverly Montessori for 20 years and loves the staff and children. She enjoys listening to classical music, reading, and gardening.
Allison Potter is the lead teacher in the Fireplace Room. She has her B.A. in Psychology and completed her Early Childhood Certification from Seton Montessori Institute. She enjoys baking, walking, swimming, and biking with her husband and 2 daughters. Her interest in the Montessori philosophy began when both of her daughters attended Beverly Montessori School.
Thelma McCauley is the lead teacher in the Southwest Room in the morning. Her son attended Beverly Montessori School 26 years ago and she loved it so much she became part of our staff and never left! She loves working here. She has a Master’s Degree in Journalism and her Early Childhood Montessori Certification from Seton Montessori Institute. She teaches science enrichment to the full-day kindergarten students. She loves reading and is working on becoming a farmer.
Ting Ting Branit is the lead teacher in the East Room. She attended the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and has her Early Childhood Montessori Certification from Seton Montessori Institute. She taught children Chinese in the Beverly area for 16 years. She sent her children to Beverly Montessori School 13 years ago and fell in love with the Montessori way. She has been a teacher at our school for 10 years. She instructs our full-day kindergarten students in Chinese culture and language. She loves working with children and seeing them excited about school. She also enjoys reading, music, yoga, traveling, singing, and nature.
Karen Quiroz is the assistant teacher in the Fireplace Room in the morning. She is a graduate of Beverly Montessori and sent her three sons to our school. She has a background in education. She has been an involved parent and staff member for the last 10 years. She is currently working towards her Early Childhood Montessori Teaching certificate from Seton Montessori Institute.
Kaushika Shanbhag is the assistant teacher in the Southwest Room. She has Bachelor’s degrees in both Political Science and Fashion Design. She sent her daughter to Beverly Montessori and became very interested in the Montessori philosophy. She enjoys reading, sketching, and taking walks. She is currently working towards her Early Childhood Montessori Teaching Certificate from Seton Montessori School.
Jennifer O’Malley is the assistant teacher in the Fireplace Room in the morning. She has a bachelor’s degree is Biology and a master’s degree in Secondary Education. She has been with Beverly Montessori previously as an assistant teacher in the East Room and as a substitute. She loves to witness the exact moment a child learns something new and the pure joy that it is for both the student and her. She also enjoys reading, gardening, spending time with family and friends and watching her son play goalie in hockey.
Hubbell Radue is the assistant teacher in the East Room in the morning. She has a B.A. in Theatre and Drama and Speech and Hearing Science and is also an American Sign Language Interpreter. Her children attended Beverly Montessori and she finds the educational team’s love and support for each other and the students remarkable. She enjoys watching the students’ process of discovery and their accomplishments. She likes to craft with her daughters and spending time in the ceramics studio.
